Giant Shark vs. Even More Giant Shark
by Mike KrumboltzOct 27, 2009
If you find yourself Down Under anytime soon, do yourself a favor and stay out of the water. A giant 20 foot long shark was recently spotted attacking another shark off the coast of Australia. The gruesome scene was caught on camera and featured on "The Today Show."
According to witnesses, the great white shark nearly chomped all the way through its victim. The results: not pretty, but very buzzy. After the segment aired on NBC, Web lookups on "great white shark," "shark vs. shark," and "australia shark attack" all surged to the surface.
The Today Show story also mentions the famous 1975 film, "Jaws." According to Daily Mail online, the cinematic shark was 25 feet long. This newly spotted killer is just five feet away. And if it stays on its "anything goes diet," who knows -- it may hit another growth spurt.
Below, you can watch the story from "The Today Show." Beware, some of the images are quite graphic. After all, sharks aren't known for their manners.
