But the American Democrates have just voted to weaken the patriot act. Our families are not safe.
The patriot act didn't help this time did it. The patriot act takes away freedoms and allows the government to have open book without having accountability. Once the freedom is gone, hard to get back, and this is exactly what extremists want. No matter if they are foreign or domestic, you can't take away the freedoms that people enjoy, this is what the services have been fighting for in past wars.
