Iraq signs mega oil deal with BP and CNPC (AFP)

I thought Pelosi, Reed and Obozo said during the presidential race that the US was in Iraq only to get oil.... Where are all the anti-war protesters? They were wrong too... does Bush get an apology?

Iraq is free to do as it pleases with its oil. I think the US ought to rethink their investment in Iraq's infrastructure.

Does Britain still own BP ? Or is it like the American Flag ? Being sold under the table by a Communist Muslim, to the highest bidder.

& I just hope it's BP under the American Flag kind of Catch-21. So the Iraqis, and world opinion can better stomach the deal.

It's more palatable in the truest sense of an open free market, & besides you owe over a trillion $ to the Chinese. It's good that they also get their cut here and there.

But I'd rather, you'd take a page out of the Chinese way of money and peace..... And much agree, that you rethink your overall Middle Eastern /Central Asian investment structure.

& it's not so bad to diversify from the current overweight on boys, bullets and bombs...
