I love how when a bunch of famous white people(McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson and Mays) die it's all over the place within minutes. Yet when a famous black guy dies, you have to search everywhere just to find a few little stories about it.....

I wish all the pro football players were as great a person as this guy was . He gave a lot of his time , money and didn't as for anything back for it . He set up clinics , camps , and other activities to keep kids off the streets , out of trouble and away from drugs . Many people don't know that about him . We all lost a good man with a heart of gold for all and respected people be fan of him or not .

I drive by Lorman a few times each week and think of Steve every time I see the Alcorn State sign. Just wish more poor Mississippi kids had moms like Steve's. God gave him the talent, his mom gave him the heart. May he rest in peace

Is this a senseless killing? Who isn't stunned and chilled? Crime makes me ill. I sincerely hope police rapidly find the killer or killers.

It is said "they" die in sets of three but this is getting ridiculous. I am at the age where I do realize how mortal I am and don't look at death as something that could never happen to me .. at least not after these last few weeks. Sorry to see you go Steve .. RIP!
