New Oscar hosts revealed

One of the best host was Whoopi Goldberg. Why hasn't she hosted again?

The best host was Johnny Carson, but maybe I am aging myself. Billy Crystal did a good job. I think Martin will be fine, but I can't stand Baldwin.

Ok why have the Oscars now any how? They're just a bunch of people voting for an actor, director or movie that doesn't piss them off. Johny Dept [ how ever his name is spelled ] should of won one year and didn't because he made a comment that pissed off the people that do the voting. Whoopi was great, people only get to do it once and when they cant find someone new then they go back to the people as before.

Not that I'm going to watch the Oscars anyway, but definately will not with team Baldwin/Martin. The Oscars are just too political now. But in the past when I did watch them, Billy Crystal was the best.

I used to watch until the Oscars became just a liberal political F**Kfest.

This will be the first time that I wont watch the Oscars because of the liberal king Baldwin doing the hosting. Between his politics and the way he treats his daughter is way too much for me. He is a complete distraction!!!

This will end my restless nights, but not improve one of the most boring events in Western civilization.

Well a long time ago BALDWIN WAS GOOD BUT NOW I THINK HE STINKS, ITS TO BAD HE HAS A COUPLE BROTHERS THAT I LIKE WHO SO FAR DON'T ACT LIKE AN ASS LIKE HE DOES.

With these two involved (especially Baldwin) get ready for a show with biased liberal political overtones. Another reason I will watch old movie re-runs rather than watch the Oscars. The Oscars is really not the place to make political statements, but it has become just that.

I thought Baldwin moved to Canada in 2000???? Was that before or after this great humanitarian berated his own daughter on the phone??

Alec Baldwin?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA....they must be planning something for a smaller audience this year because that is what they will get. Baldwin is a bloated toad who doesn't deserve the honor of hosting the Oscars. Martin could do it alone, he will be good. Too bad they couldn't get Jackman again! Billy Crystal was great :)

Cool, Steve Martin is a hoot, Alec Baldwin, is an ok actor, Would love to see Billy Crystal host the oscars again.

Baldwin and Martin would make a great re-do of 'The Odd Couple', but not the Oscars. Bring back Billy.

Martin will be Ok, Alec Baldwin is an abusive father and a terrible actor-will not watch if he is a host.

That Alec Baldwin will be hosting the Oscars is the reason I WILL NOT tune in. He's a jerk and a sorry excuse for a father and I cannot tolerate that society is overlooking his emotionallly abusive telephone rant at his daughter. He is not someone to be celebrated! He is someone to be pitied.

Maybe the message the Academy is not getting from the low ratings is not about who hosts and who doesn't, but because people are just plain bored with actors/celebrities awarding themselves constantly. Enough, already!

Hugh Jackman was awesome. These two old farts are just terrible. Guess I won't watch this year. Hugh Jackman has actual talent, is funny and can act, sing, dance.... nice guy. He loves his wife and would never call his daughter a fat pig.
