There is no respect for life and no respect for women. This is true with the more secular societies and more religious extremists are allowed to show their lack of morality. As a mother who gave birth to a child and seen how my husband bonded with our little girl as a father, it makes me think that these types of fathers never bonded with their kids and are selfish and cannot master or control themselves. It also made me think how come the mom haven't said anything! My goodness the strenght of feeling of protecting my newborn baby was sooo intense it was scary! And yet her parents seemed to care more about "honor" and "tradition" than love.
If he was worried about his children becoming "westernized" why the hell did he move them here in the first place?
I can't imagine how badly he treated her at home everyday, if he was willing to run her over and kill her.

Why do Muslims almost universally accept this as normal? A few Muslims groups in the US put out statements condemning the violence, but the messages are worded very carefully not to offend other Muslims.
